The Pulpmate Forestry Head is the proven leader in directional falling heads on the market. Designed specifically for the Australian Hardwood Industry, it has been used within the Industry over the past 15 - 20 years.

This range now features 4 different size felling heads and with input from Contractors and Operators has been developed over the years into the product it is today.

All Forestry Heads feature a 180-degree cut saw configuration with a 3/4” pitch chain and a 45cc hydraulic motor.

Bar lengths range from 36” - 52” on the larger models.

All heads are in full hydraulic operation and require no electrical cables to the attachment.

All saw adjustments can be made at the head using one single manifold block for adjustment of the chain speed, bar out speed/force & bar lube flow.

These heads feature a heavy duty ball race for the wrist rotation with the 650 & 652 having a double ball race and all have hi torque wrist rotation motors ranging from 820cc in the 450 size to 3000 ccs in the 650 & 652 sizes.

Each head features 2 of these motors.
